What is a Faculty Level Reps and what do they do?
A Faculty (also known as School) Rep is a student who represents the interests of the students in their School to the University. They sit on School Academic Boards and make sure that students are at the heart of decision making.
School Reps also form a key link between course representatives, the students and the Students Union. They sit as full members of the School Academic Board and the Staff-Student Liaison Committee within their area of study.
The job of a Faculty Representative is to:
- Represent the students in their faculty.
- Attend and participate in School Academic Boards, feeding back important information to the Course Representatives and to the Students Union.
- Support the Course Representatives in their School and attend the Staff-Student Liaison Committee.
