Men’s Football

Would you like the opportunity to represent your University and play for the largest Students’ Union Sports Club?

If the answer is yes, come and join the UBSU Football Club.  We  have three football teams, and we all play in the Northern Conference league of the British Universities and College Sports (BUCS).

All our teams are run by students via the Students’ Union; our club captains, chair and secretary are all trained at the Students’ Union and are selected to run the teams by a democratic process.

All teams play their matches on a Wednesday afternoon and train on Sunday’s in the Sports Hall.

Joining the University of Bolton Football Club allows you to play football at an excellent standard and it gives you the opportunity to meet new people and get involved with university life, for although we play football, we also have a great social life.

Membership fee is £15 which covers:

• Platinum Personal Accident Insurance cover (while training and for match days)                                                            
• Affiliation to the Lancashire FA
• Use of football kit and equipment
• Use of training facilities
• Referees
• Pitch fees
• Subsidised transport to away games
