AGM 2012

The AGM which should have taken place on 21st February was inquorate.  We will be posting the dates and times of the next AGM when they become available.

The Annual General Meeting is your chance to have a say on the direction of the University of Bolton Students’ Union.

As the sovereign body of UBSU, the AGM can mandate the Students’ Union and the Elected Offices to follow its direction. You’ll have a chance to read through our Annual Report and the Elected Officers will let you know what they’ve achieved since they started in July 2011.

The AGM is a key date in the Union’s calendar where motions, submitted by students, are debated and voted on by members. This is a great chance to have your say about your Union.

The AGM is open to all members of the Students’ Union.

Students can vote on the day for the motions of their choice and motions are only passed if they receive enough votes.

Student input at the AGM will play a vital role in shaping the Union and its policies.

Motions could be about:  your course, politics, accommodation, services, catering, activities or events for example.
