Brenda Hall – Receptionist – Afternoon Employed 2002
Gill and Brenda are the Union’s first point of contact and provide all the reception and many administrative needs for the staff and sabbaticals.

James Phillips – Bar and Catering Manager

The Union has one bar and catering outlet (Loft) located on the upper level of the Social Learning Zone.  James employs a number of part-time student staff and is responsible for training, induction, supervision and also trains our events volunteers.  

Sarah Harrison – Assistant Catering Manager

Sarah deputizes James with the day to day running of the Union’s catering outlet. Sarah also assists James in delivering the student staff training.

Sue Delanty – Student Activities Co-Ordinator
Employed 1993
Sue co-ordinates the Union’s sporting clubs and societies. Sue provides the administrative support for all clubs and societies.

Janet Galligan – Advice Unit Co-ordinator
Employed 2005
Janet Co-ordinates the Advice Unit. The Advice Unit provides a free, impartial and confidential advice and assistance to all students here at the University of Bolton.

Gill Charters – Athena Xpress Manager

Gill is the Manager of the Students’ Union Shop (Athena Xpress), based in the Chancellor’s Mall.  

Helen Grailey – Student Representation Coordinator
Employed 2007                                               

Helen is responsible for coordinating, training and supporting Student Representatives within the University.  This also involves advising the University and making reccomendations to enhance the project.
