Come and socialise with old and new friends in a relaxed and safe environment, free from intimidation and discrimination.

We are in a great location for all students at the University as we are in the hub of student activity in our new home in the Chancellor's Mall within the Social Learning Zone.

The Loft provides a wide range of food and drink including, sandwiches, paninis, jackets, wraps and much more. 

If you are in a rush, most items on the menu are available to take away including our range of Fairtrade teas, coffees and hot chocolate.

There is a wide variety of alternative drinks on offer, ranging from a selection of soft drinks (including J2O, Coca-Cola and Water) to quality wines, spirits, draught beers (Fosters, Carlsberg, Kronenburg, Guinness, John Smiths and Strongbow) and branded bottles (WKD, VK and Smirnoff Ice) to name a few.

We are also here to entertain you, the Loft Bar has plasma screens (with music channel) and a big screen showing live sporting events throughout the year, two pool tables and gaming machines.

Wireless internet is available via your laptop.

The Entertainment Committee |organise regular themed nights to suit all tastes including a weekly quiz night, chill out zone, open mike/band night, rock night, old skool disco and beach parties!                                  

On a final note we were the first licensed premises in Bolton to be awarded the Best Bar None Award for social responsibility to our customers.  We have since been reassessed and again achieved this award.  As the title suggests we believe we are the BEST BAR NONE…..so come and visit us and find out for yourself, we know you won't be disappointed.
